Pilgrimage to Vietnam
The purpose of this trip is to give VietCa Music Center’s students the opportunity to connect back to the roots of the instruments they study. Learning dan bau, t’rung, k’longput, dan tranh,... is not just a mechanical learning of notes on a page, but a whole cultural experience which entails physically and spiritually feeling the country where the instrument come from.

Every other year in late November or in late January, Bic arranges a trip to Vietnam. The students will study different Vietnamese ancient music styles with masters, teachers; visit sacred and popular sites, experiment Vietnamese food. The trip takes 2 weeks and start from Southern Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh city, and end at Hainoi city, the capital of Vietnam
Although the schedule is relatively flexible and you could alter it in any way to your needs, we encouraged that everyone sticks together for group solidarity and support, especially for the first-time visitors to Vietnam. The maximum number of participants for this trip is 6 so please reserve your space soon.
